SUPER NOVAS on a sunny afternoon

Yesterday was a beautiful day! Our friend Tim came to pick up his 2nd Super Nova, 18 notes in Kiavara on one side and Kyoto on the other. His first, THE first Super Nova is in Ursa Minor and Golden Gate. All of these are in the key of D and feature several notes in common on both sides. If you leave the tongues free to vibrate on the underside you get an amazing reverberation effect when you play on top, sympathetic resonnance of 5 notes is really something else. You can of course put it on your lap and mute the notes on the under-side.
We were joined by Michael Colley who has a collection of hand pans without equal, 2 hang hang, 1 Halo, 1 SPB. Combined with our Innersound we had a BLAST. I did video a jam, have to hear the reults before I publish!
Thanks to Tim and Michael for an unforgettable day.
SUPER NOVA coming soon, fasten your seat belts!!!
